人多多 (RenDuoDuo) is a caregiver-matching platform that connects professional caregivers with long-term care organizations and families across Taiwan. Your privacy is fundamental to how we operate. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What information we collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and your role on the platform (caregiver or organization). If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive only the basic profile data those services provide (name and email).

Profile information (caregivers): To appear in search results and match with organizations, caregivers may provide work experience, certifications, available working hours, and a profile photo.

Organization information: Organizations may provide their registered business name, contact details, and information about the type of care services they offer.

Subscription and payment data: Subscription plans are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive only the subscription status and plan type; we do not collect or store your credit card or payment account information.

Usage and device data: We automatically collect device type, operating system version, IP address, and usage patterns within the app (e.g., searches performed, profiles viewed) to maintain and improve service quality.

How we use your information

To provide the matching service: Caregiver profiles are made available to organizations searching for staff. We use your information to display relevant search results and facilitate contact between caregivers and organizations.

To manage your account and subscription: We use your account data to authenticate your identity, manage your subscription entitlements, and display the correct features based on your plan.

To communicate with you: We may send service-related notifications (account alerts, subscription updates, platform announcements) via push notification or email.

For security and legal compliance:We use data to detect fraud, protect the integrity of the platform, and comply with applicable laws including Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

To improve the platform: Aggregated, de-identified usage data helps us understand how the app is used and prioritize improvements.

How we share your information

With other platform users:Caregiver profiles (including name, experience, and availability) are visible to organizations that have an active subscription. Organizations' basic information is visible to caregivers browsing job opportunities.

With service providers: We engage trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, analytics, and push notifications. These providers process data only on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.

For legal reasons: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Aggregated or anonymized data: We may share data that cannot reasonably identify you for research or reporting purposes.

Your choices and rights

Profile visibility: Caregivers can update or temporarily hide their profile from search results at any time through app settings.

Notifications: You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings or within the app.

Data access, correction, and deletion:Under Taiwan's PDPA, you have the right to request access to, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support.fsccare@gmail.com. You may also delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account), which permanently removes your data from our systems.

Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's privacy

人多多 is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email before the changes take effect. Continued use of 人多多 after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
